SEOUL, May 3 (Korea Bizwire) – Samsung Electronics announced on May 2 that it will fully implement the Smart Forward service based on its SmartThings platform.
The Smart Forward service provides regular and continuous software upgrades, allowing users to access the latest features even if they do not purchase new products.
The new updates will be rolled out sequentially to Samsung’s Bespoke 4-Door Family Hub refrigerators, Bespoke Air Dresser, and dehumidifiers.
Family Hub refrigerators launched after 2017 will receive the latest features from the 2024 Bespoke AI Family Hub model.
Utilizing the Quick Share function, users can enjoy YouTube videos directly on the refrigerator’s screen and view photos and videos stored on their smartphones.
The Bespoke Air Dresser, released last year, will support the AI Saving Mode and Custom Dry features found in Bespoke AI appliances.
“Through Smart Forward, we will provide regular updates with the latest features across all our products, enabling more consumers to enjoy a differentiated experience,” said Yoo Mi-young, vice president of Samsung Electronics’ Digital Appliances (DA) division.
